Trailer Maintenance

The mission: clean and organize our Emergency Response trailers. We gathered at City Hall for the briefing, then carpooled to the Corp Yard, set up tables, and started the sorting and cleaning. Here are some photos from the event (Google).

Gwenda provided breakfast croissant-wiches and Brian brought coffee to start us off. Gwenda also provided tunes on-site, a welcomed touch.
Clifford and Kerry were stellar with vacuums and cleaning in each trailer.
Lisa took on the trailer washing duty (to the distress of her clean clothing) before joining the sorting and moving.
Cathi was Operations Chief for sorting and work with the backpacks and training materials. She took notes (so we know it happened).
Barry was chief labeler of all boxes and containers.
Steve measured and installed new shelves (and closed off an old portal for even more shelves) according to Kerry’s expert plans.
Patrick helped us lift and move heavy (and other) things.
David, Eddy, Catherine and Milagros were busy as bees moving their loads around.
Judi practiced using a cordless drill and took pictures with Eddy’s camera.

The California Public Utilities Commission worked with CAL FIRE and others to develop a Fire-Threat Map of California. The map shows places with a high risk of wildfires that could put people and property in danger. Additionally, PG&E has introduced an app that allows the public to report non-emergency safety concerns in high risks areas related to PG&E electrical equipment. Visit PG&E's Report It.
