Red Cross Shelter Fundamentals Training

Our recent Red Cross Shelter Fundamentals Training provided CERT volunteers the training needed to work at a Red Cross shelter, including shelter management, organization, operations and some great examples from recent disasters. Our presenter, Briana Taylor (center), shared her experiences from over 15 years as a Red Cross volunteer. One of our attendees noted, “I was inspired by the Red Cross training, have downloaded some of their handy apps and have looked at their volunteer program.”
