Following our fall basic training classes, we’re holding our Practical Review of medical triage and emergency medical skills, search and rescue cribbing, fire suppression, and Incident Command System (ICS) this Saturday, October 19, 2019, from 8 am – 12 pm. Come to City Hall, 525 Henrietta St. [map] Be ready to start by 8am. All CERT-trained volunteers are welcome to participate in the review.
Update: we reviewed head-to-toe assessments and basic first aid, saved the body under a heavy obstacle, put fires out, and did the paperwork for damage assessment and mass casualty triage. It’s another great class of volunteers!
