Lunch & Learn: Respiration, Perfusion, and Mental Status

CERT volunteers are trained to conduct a quick triage (sorting) of people who may be injured in a mass-casualty incident. Learn how to recognize when someone needs immediate medical care, and become familiar with the most immediate needs of injured individuals during an emergency.

Dr. Cathy Owen has been a member of CERT for about three years and only recently started as an instructor. A retired family medicine doctor, she signed up to be of use to the Martinez community and possibly use some of her medical background in disaster situations.
