CERT volunteers are trained to conduct a quick triage (sorting) of people who may be injured in a mass-casualty incident. These three things will help us recognize when someone needs immediate medical care.
Our final CERT Training exercise was held at the lovely and spacious Community Center in Brentwood on Saturday, 26 October. Everyone who needed help were rescued and treated with our first aid skills. Fires were extinguished, cribbing was built and bodies moved to safety, and paperwork was completed.

Our Stop the Bleed training went very well! Ron Shuman, our main instructor, was pleased at how engaged we were with our questions and our hands-on work.
