Water Storage Sale

Lamorinda Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is again helping residents get prepared for a major disaster. To date they have distributed over 205,000 gallons of low cost water drums within the area. To be prepared, you need at least 1 gallon of potable water and 1 gallon of sanitation water per person per day. That’s 14 gallons per person per week.

EBMUD says that they expect to have most residential service restored within a month of a major quake.

They have a one-click ordering system for complete packages and additional drums can be added easily for additional family members. The current sale is for pickup in Moraga or El Cerrito on Friday, March 4th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. or Saturday, March 5th from 9:00 a.m. until noon.

Sale closes this Thursday, February 24th so they can get the order in to the manufacturer.
