We were called out by the Martinez Police Department to help find a 10 year old boy who hadn’t checked in after school. Those of us who were available turned up to help find him. The police had pictures of the missing boy for us to hand out. The PD’s K-9 patrol was busy sniffing the paths. The Contra Costa Sheriff’s office also had a helicopter searching from on high.

To everyone’s joy, the missing boy was located and returned home safely. All ended well.

The California Public Utilities Commission worked with CAL FIRE and others to develop a Fire-Threat Map of California. The map shows places with a high risk of wildfires that could put people and property in danger. Additionally, PG&E has introduced an app that allows the public to report non-emergency safety concerns in high risks areas related to PG&E electrical equipment. Visit PG&E's Report It.
